Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements
- Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Oversee Inter-Company transactions and reconcile inter-company accounts
- Prepare and review financial reports and provide analysis to management
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Partner with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and General Ledger accounting
- Experience with Inter-Company transactions and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
