Position Overview:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for all account receivable functions including payment tracking, general ledger entry, bank reconciliations, month end reporting and other accounting duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

* Examine accounting records and other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness.

* Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e., GAAP, FASB) rules, regulations, and systems of internal controls.

* Protects organization's values by keeping information confidential.

* Prepares and posts daily/monthly/adjusting journal entries.

* Record daily cash activity, summarize, and analyze monthly.

* Develop and implement a proper record keeping process, while making use of current technologies.

* Analyzes information and options by developing and maintaining excel spreadsheets to track and verify information.

* Identify areas for improvement and make suggestions for improvements.

* Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

* Engages in continuous learning to remain current in information and technology to aid in overall job performance.

* Travel to other site locations may be required. Mileage is reimbursed per policy.

* Learn other fiscal roles/jobs to be backup if needed.

* Providers support and guidance to other members of the accounting department.

* Attends all site and organizational meetings and maintains a physical presence in the assigned administration office.

* Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

* Associates degree in applicable field preferred

* 1-2 year's experience preferred
