Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45,000 to $65,000 per year. Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and vendor questions resolution.
- Reconciliation of vendor statements to the Company's records.
- Audit and review of employee expense reports.
- Assistance with the workers comp and insurance audits.
- Tracking and tagging of new fixed assets
- Assistance with the onboarding of new employee
Requirements
- Associate Degree, preferably in Accounting, or relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 3+ years of experience in a related position with similar responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
- Maintain confidentiality, openness to others' ideas, and willingness to embrace innovation
- Communicate clearly and persuasively in various situations, including group presentations
- Edit work for spelling and grammar, present numerical data effectively, and interpret written information
