Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with an established construction company to identify a Bookkeeper to join their company. This opportunity could be part time or full time depending on the desired hours. Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Review and process vendor invoices and inventory receipts
- Assist with vendor check runs
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Assist with month end close
- Review product sales, costs and margins
- Monitor and update product pricing
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Enter bank deposits
- Assist in reconciling ledgers, reports and accounting records
- Prepare monthly customer statements
- Assist Accounting Manager with all aspects of accounting
- Manage multiple duties and priorities simultaneously
Background Expected of Bookkeeper:
- Prior accounting experience required
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
