Job Summary
We are seeking a part time Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, making monthly reconciliations and managing payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and highly organized.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Research ap/ar issues, research and solve customer credit card issues
Create end of month financial reports and liaison with accountant
Generate payroll checks through ADP, maintain vendor database
Qualifications
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
