We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with payroll processing.
Responsibilities: - Record day-to-day financial transactions in the general ledger - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable - Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Prepare financial reports, including monthly and annual profit and loss statements - Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations - Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections - Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting - Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role - Proficient in QuickBooks or other accounting software - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
