You look for opportunities to make someone have a wonderful experience.What you'll be doingCheck in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible. Assure that guests are assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.Check out guests at the end of their stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges, and present a bill to the guest. Settle bills accurately through credit card or cash transactions.Resolve customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with resort services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interact with guests in person and by phone.Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Make change, cash checks, and manage the cash drop procedure, as well as any billing matters. Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift.Utilize a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations. Answer all guest calls and questions via email or phone.Assist with the responsibilities and duties of Concierge and Guest Experience Services.Provide basic troubleshooting support for in-room services such as the Internet, TV movies, games, and web services.Ensure immediate response is given to any and all guest comments and concerns, inform the immediate supervisor of concerns, and assist in implementing corrective measures when necessary.Have a comprehensive knowledge of hotel availability and current rates and/or special events that may impact occupancy and availability.Effectively monitor all daily operations in the lodging office for both staff and guests.Possess fluent knowledge of local restaurants, special events, city attractions, amenities, and directions.Other duties as assigned.Compensation: $19.00/hourHotel and Restaurant DiscountsGrowth and Development Opportunities9 Paid HolidaysHealth Insurance Benefits - Including Dental and Vision Options5 Days PTO after your first year#J-18808-Ljbffr
