This role demands a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to maximizing profitability while maintaining high standards of compliance and efficiency while minimizing costs.ESSENTIALS JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction, ensuring the boutique and ecommerce meet its sales targets. Oversee daily boutique operations, including effective inventory management, merchandising, and staff scheduling to ensure operational excellence.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and strategies to capitalize on market demands.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment where everyone is committed to achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Cross train staff on hotel SOP's and be flexible to assume additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and procedures and adherence to legal and safety regulations to maintain a secure and lawful workplace.
  • Handle complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote boutique specials, events, and promotions, enhancing brand visibility and attracting foot traffic.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to continuously improve team skills, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
  • Responsibly manage the boutique budget, including optimizing labor costs and controlling expenses, to ensure the boutique's financial health and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to select and manage inventory effectively, based on thorough sales data analysis and understanding of customer preferences, ensuring the boutique meets its sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Manage e-commerce in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Continuously shop our website to ensure key customer engagement areas are active and functioning smoothly. This includes auditing products on our website to ensure customers have all the information they need to make a purchase online.
  • Remains up to date on new merchandise, upcoming promotions, changes in policies and procedures, merchandise availability, etc.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to increase online leads, improve processes, and strengthen the ecommerce experience.
  • Researches customer engagements as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience as a retail manager or in asimilar managerial role, with a strong track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, capable of motivating a team to achieve excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle complaints and issues effectively and courteously.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and marketing principles.
  • Familiarity with budget management, including labor cost optimization and expense control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with staff, customers, and business partners.
  • Strong knowledge of all applicable software programs used. Must be able to multitask using multiple software applications at any given time.
  • Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and deliver superior customer services with little input from others.
  • Always looking for the best interest of both guests and the hotel.
  • Able to perform a job with attention to detail and can effectively organize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Must handle difficult situations and hold associates accountable.
  • Must be able to work in teams and involve others in decision-makingwhen applicable.
  • Ability to be flexible in availability to accommodate hotel occupancy and business demand.
  • Forward thinking, sharp trainer skills, and ability to mentor and develop associates.
  • Ability to successfully motivate and lead a team through leading by example.
  • Maintain high visibility resulting in a minimum of 70% of time spent on the floor with the teams.
  • MUST have flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays and evenings as needed or directed.
  • Multi-lingual is a plus
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Two years or more in Luxury Retail Management
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
