Charlotte Valley Central SchoolDistrict is accepting applicationsfor the following:Boys Junior Varsity Basketball CoachWe are looking for a passionate and dedicated Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Coach to lead and develop our JV team. The coach will be responsible for organizing practices, developing game strategies, and fostering a positive, competitive environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual improvement. Key responsibilities include teaching basketball fundamentals, conditioning, and tactical skills, while ensuring the safety and well-being of all players. The coach will also provide mentorship, monitor academic performance, and encourage the personal development of student-athletes. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as the coach will collaborate with the varsity coach, athletic director, and parents. Previous coaching experience or a background in basketball is preferred. The ideal candidate will inspire players to work hard, improve their skills, and represent the school with pride.Requirements: High school diploma required; prior coaching or playing experience preferred.
