**This position is contingent on the award of a federal contract.**
IMSolutions seeks **Federal Government BPA Project Managers** to fill an exciting opportunity supporting the federal government.
**This position is located in** **Washington, DC, with the possibility of being remote/hybrid.**
As a **BPA Project Manager** **,** you will assist higher-level program/project managers in directing project lifecycles by developing comprehensive project plans that include both long- and short-range goals and milestones.
Manages resources to achieve project technical objectives.
Functions will include:
+ Directing a project team and monitoring functional organizations to complete milestones within specific budgets and schedules.
+ Interfacing with external customers as well as top management for the purpose of communicating the status of the project throughout the lifecycle.
+ Providing clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all task order personnel; communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with task order personnel and senior management; and organizing, directing, and coordinating the execution of task order activities within negotiated time frames.
+ Ensuring submittal of task order deliverables in accordance with the contract with the ability to read and interpret federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully and legally to required deliverables.
+ Manage projects with various levels of technical complexity. Train and direct employee work activities.
+ Sign timecards, prepare performance reviews, handle discipline problems, and have input to hiring and firing.
**Minimally, you will have the following:**
+ Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study with at least 10 years of experience (or Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience) within the field.
+ Experience serving as a warranted Contracting Officer for a Federal Agency and with at least (5) years in leadership positions coordinating work for a large program.
+ Must have experience conducting recent and relevant projects of a similar magnitude, scope, and complexity as described in the PWS within the past 5-years.
+ Experience initiating, planning, developing, executing/managing, monitoring, controlling, and closing large-scale programs, including service delivery contracts and mission-critical programs, and directly supporting complex federal government acquisition programs/projects.
+ Experience and subject matter expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and policies, including Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation (HSAR) and Homeland Security Acquisition Manual (HSAM), with the ability to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting the FAR standard and agency standards towards effecting sound business judgment.
+ Ability to read and interpret Federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully and legally to required deliverables.
+ Ability to communicate with senior personnel effectively, orally and in writing.
+ Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years.
+ Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must be adjudicated favorably for you to begin working. _This requires fingerprinting and reporting on your previous employment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Candidates may be disqualified for federal or state convictions of crimes; military court-martials, delinquent federal debt including taxes and student loans, current use of illegal drugs, or lying on their application._
**Ideally, you will have the following:**
+ Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP), Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC- P/PM) certification Level II.
**Base compensation range and benefits:**
+ $110,000 to $135,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
