Dana-co has a new opportunity for a Bra Technical Designer with an eye for detail and quality product.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the fit execution of seasonal product
Create easy to read, technical packages, including construction details, measurements, and patterns for overseas vendors to follow
Attend and participate in all fittings
Make pattern adjustments ensuring fit consistency across the brands and keeping design intent
Partner with grading department to adjust and manipulate grade as needed
Communicate with factories overseas
Support tech design team with all technical and construction issues, questions, and concerns
Adhere to department standards and process
Handle multiple projects and work quickly in a deadline-driven environment, without sacrificing quality
Position Requirements
Strong and hands experience with Intimates (Bras)
Must have a strong ability for detail work and a thorough understanding of fit
Experience in pattern manipulation, grading, and garment construction is required
Must have strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft office, with a focus on Excel
Strong work ethics, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills
Resourceful, hands-on, and able to sense urgency
Ability to be flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced environment and be able to meet deadlines
Working knowledge of Lectra Modaris or Gerber for pattern-making manipulation a plus
Associate s and/or bachelor s degree preferred
