Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Braider Operator to join our production team. This role is crucial in ensuring that hose products are manufactured according to strict specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of braiding processes, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.- Perform all required computer inputs related to braiding operations.- Verify that hose characteristics meet the proper Product Specifications.- Obtain and prepare materials according to Braider Specifications.- Change gears on the Braider to meet specific requirements.- Check tension against the required Braider Specification tension.- Change over wire and yarn on the Braider as needed.- Inspect for loopy wires and ensure proper feeding of yarn.- Contact the Braider Mechanic if any issues arise.- Locate and understand relevant procedures and forms related to the position.Requirements- Must meet the Qualified Job Rate during training as determined by the Department Supervisor.- Familiarity with NRP's Quality Manual and specified job responsibilities.- Strong literacy and comprehension skills.- Ability to read and comply with Product and Braider Specifications as well as Standard Operating Procedures.- Proficiency in using a pi tape for accurate measurements.Salary Description 17
