Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Braider Operator to join our production team. This role is crucial in ensuring that hose products are manufactured according to strict specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of braiding processes, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. - Perform all required computer inputs related to braiding operations. - Verify that hose characteristics meet the proper Product Specifications. - Obtain and prepare materials according to Braider Specifications. - Change gears on the Braider to meet specific requirements. - Check tension against the required Braider Specification tension. - Change over wire and yarn on the Braider as needed. - Inspect for loopy wires and ensure proper feeding of yarn. - Contact the Braider Mechanic if any issues arise. - Locate and understand relevant procedures and forms related to the position. Requirements - Must meet the Qualified Job Rate during training as determined by the Department Supervisor. - Familiarity with NRP's Quality Manual and specified job responsibilities. - Strong literacy and comprehension skills. - Ability to read and comply with Product and Braider Specifications as well as Standard Operating Procedures. - Proficiency in using a pi tape for accurate measurements.
