We are working with a prominent global trading company firm seeking to hire a branch finance controller with experience in fertilisers to join their team. The position will be based in Kansas, and the candidate will be expected to work alongside the team in person.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Ensure booking of all types of financial records in the accounting system and maintained in compliance with accepted accounting policies, standards, system and procedures.
- Timely preparation and reconciliation of all financial statements and sending the same to HO and coordination with Banks for securing trade finance / limits.
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly MIS for the branch and sending consolidated MIS for subsidiaries to HO.
- Monitor and maintain accounting control procedures. Financial audit preparation and co-ordinate the audit process.
- Maintenance of Bank account, Reconciliation, Daily funds Report + Daily Receivables report for management review.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or trade support, ideally in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in SAP or other financial and accounting systems, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent understanding of compliance, audit processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
