Northland Area Federal Credit Union is seeking applicants for a full time Branch Manager II (BMII) for its Alpena location. The ideal candidate will ensure the team delivers service standards to both internal and external members, as well as, effectively and efficiently manage a branch. This includes member deposit, loan, and relationship growth and strong member satisfaction and loyalty. This position is responsible to direct, schedule, coordinate and monitor activities at the branch to ensure quality of work and compliance with established laws and regulations. The BMII is also responsible to conduct loan interviews, process and close loan requests; conducts new account interviews, process and open new accounts and service existing account relationships. The candidate must be able to coach and lead staff in meeting individual and branch goals, as well as, continually monitor all security measures to ensure safeguards are properly followed at all times. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to maintain a high performing service culture and meet key strategic objectives, which includes attaining established goals through promoting Credit Union products and services and through community outreach and involvement to enhance new and existing member relationships and business opportunities. **Requirements:**
Associates degree in business management, or comparable relevant work experience
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license
State of Michigan Credit Insurance Producer License obtained within 12 months of acquiring position
**Additional Desired Attributes:**
Bachelors degree in business administration, business management, banking, or other related field. Five or more years of experience in financial services, credit unions, banking, sales, management or other related field.
**Misc Comments:**
Typical indoor office environment with occasional travel and driving away from the branch for training, community involvement and outreach, etc. Must be able to frequently remain in either a sitting or standing position and occasionally move about/traverse inside the branch. Requires occasional bending, reaching and lifting/carrying of 50 pounds or less. Must be able to continuously communicate to others and exchange information. Requires repetitive use of hand/fingers, such as keyboard typing, counting cash, using office equipment, etc. Must be able to continuously think analytically, concentrate on tasks and remember names and/or details.
