Job Description:
Branch Manager: $80,000 plus bonus Job summary: We are seeking an assertive self-starter to lead operations and sales in Watertown, WI. We are looking for a future oriented, problem solver who doesn't sit on problems or is ever afraid to ask what if! Focus on getting things done quickly and thoroughly are sure fire ways to success. In this role you will be responsible for leading the warehouse, transportation, distribution, and sales functions for the market. The ultimate success or failure of this branch falls on your ability to execute. We are looking for a leader not wanting to rest on past success. The better your branch's performance the greater the reward! Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Utilize our core values to direct branch operations emphasizing leadership, accountability, integrity and teamwork
  • Lead sales representatives in the market to drive market growth
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Grow sales by building customer relationships and providing excellent customer service
  • Help with inventory management and oversee warehouse efficiency
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability
  • Participate in budget development and forecasts
  • Perform quality controls and monitor warehouse activity
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service
  • Lead, motivate and support team members, including career development plans for direct reports
  • Maintain safety program enforcing safe work practices and procedures
  • Develop delivery routes and cultivate a strong relationship with drivers and customers
Skills & Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree (or equivalent experience) in business, operations management or related field
  • Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of performance and operations management
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Proven team leader
  • Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator
