Who you are:
As a Branch Operations Manager with Frost Insurance Agency, you are our leader, providing guidance and support to every single team member on your team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions within an agency branch. Our managers have a genuine care for people and enjoy developing people and do it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.
What you'll do:
* Supervise administrative functions in the branch, including but not limited to receptionists, mailroom/supply clerks, and branch bookkeepers
* Act as the branch liaison to Insurance Accounting and Statewide Operations Manger and Service Leader
* Serve as the branch contact for Frost's audit department. Coordinate carrier contracts initiated or maintained by the branch with Frost Insurance vendor management, Market President, line of business lead, and Compliance Officer
* Serve as the branch E&O coordinator, and act as liaison with the bank for other requests for information and forms
* Serve as branch systems operator, schedule and deliver orientation and training on system procedures and workflow to new employees and to all employees when changes occur, coordinating with line of business service managers as necessary
* Utilize detail oriented research and analysis skills to perform financial forecasting and budgeting, working with regional Market President regarding P&L calculations, variance analysis, and trends
* Promote the Frost culture of integrity, caring, and excellence
* Monitor, research, and provide information on surplus line filings
* Act as the Security Representative for regional staff, ensuing employees have the programs and tools they need to successfully complete their duties and tasks
* Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you'll need:
* Experience in a service or operational area within the Insurance Industry
* Understanding of agency accounting functions
* Excellent leadership and organization skills
* Ability to perform detail oriented research and analysis
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
* Professional Certification (AIM, ACSR, CIC, CPCU)
* High level applied systems or other agency management system skills
* Experience in management and/or HR activities
