This position is for a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate. ROYCE' Confect USA is an equalopportunity employer.Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, applicants for this position must be comfortablewearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as face masks and gloves while workingin a retail boutique setting.Summary of Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are notlimited to the following:Key Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting customers and preparing orders for customer anddelivery pick-ups. Sales associates are also responsible for answering customers' questionsregarding brand and product information (allergens present in products, brand history, contactlessshopping and delivery options, among others). The associates are also responsible for maintaininglocations' cleanliness and assisting managers with tasks such as fixing and organizing productdeliveries and doublechecking daily product inventory and cash sales where needed. Required towork on weekends.Drive for Results: Sales associates are expected to observe inventory movement in their respectivelocations. They are encouraged to communicate with their direct supervisors and the managementabout suggestions on how to improve sales and marketing pitches based on their firsthandexperiences working on the sales floor.Customer Service: Excellent customer service is crucial for this position. Sales associates areexpected to work closely with their managers in resolving customer disputes and complaints. Anenthusiastic attitude and good people relations skills are advantages together with honest workethics.Merchandising/ Visual: Sales associates must ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized, andalways reflects the correct visual image of the brand. They are also required to help their managerscheck for broken displays and damaged dry goods.Operations: Regular boutique operations and physical work include, but are not limited, to thefollowing:• Organizing Store Deliveries: Boutiques get deliveries and restocks of chocolates and drygoods at least once a week, or as frequent as operations would require. This position requiressales associates to be capable of lifting and carrying cases and boxes in a boutique settingwith the following dimensions and weight:The biggest case/box with dimensions of 19”-16”-22” weighing approximately 14 lbs.The heaviest case/box weighing approximately 25 lbs. with dimensions of 9”-12”-17”.ROYCE' CONFECT USA strongly discourages employees from stacking up casesand boxes to ensure safety in the workplace.• In-Store Chocolate Sampling for Customers: Sales associates are also responsible foroffering in-store chocolate samples to further encourage customer engagement in a boutique.• Inventory Management: Sales associates are required to physically count chocolatemerchandise and send an inventory report daily by email to management. In relation, thisincludes physically doublechecking expiry dates on products and ensuring accuracy forproduct inventory, delivery and sales reports, and cash flow (where needed).• Cleanliness: Sales associates also have to ensure the store is cleaned daily. This includestasks like, but not limited to, the following: vacuuming, mopping, wiping and dusting offshelves, among others.• Dry Goods: Sales associates also have to routinely monitor the use of boutique dry goods andsupplies such as shopping bags, giftwrapping materials, and cleaning agents (such asdisinfecting wipes, hand sanitizers, PPE like disposable gloves), among others, to ensureboutique is adequately stocked always. These are provided by our warehouse team uponrequest.• Cash Management: Processing cash and credit card sales transactions.Qualifications: Ideal qualifications include 1 to 5 years of experience in retail (having worked withfood is an advantage), strong communication and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in work schedule(including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, special selling events, and holidays as brandoperations will require).Pay Details: $17.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
