The Brand Manager- CocoaVia will be responsible for providing support to the Associate Director by leading CocoaVia's foundational business planning and management, comms/content development & execution, influencer and partnerships, as well as providing analytical support to untap brand opportunities. They will act as the steward of the brand equity across touchpoints, partnering with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure best in class creative content. They will also be the voice of the consumer, bringing external and internal insights into light to optimize the current brand strategy and execution, as well as develop new growth opportunities for the brand, in different segments or channels.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree required MBA degree preferred
* 4+ years in Marketing, specifically in a brand or product management position
* 2+ years previously working within a CPG brand and experience with D2C business
* Previous experience managing digital marketing channels, including website and social preferred
* Strong stakeholder management experience inclusive of working with external agency partners
* Extensive experience managing brand P&L and marketing budgets
* Talent for creating systems to help streamline and organize structures to help team meet deadlines and deliver results
* Ability to synthesize and simplify complex data sets
* Skillsets in project management, prioritization, and time management
* Demonstrated success at working in an entrepreneurial environment a plus
* Up to 15% travel annually
What would be your key responsibilities?
* Deliver best-in-class content: Lead planning and development of all asset creation and implementation across brand channels and platforms. Serve as main liaison between CocoaVia and creative agencies/consultants. Ensure consistency of brand visual language and claims across touchpoints. Deliver on-time quality content including, but not limited to social, digital display, online video, influencer, paid search, e-mail marketing, and product packaging
* Own business planning and management: Own forecasting responsibility for cocoavia.com channel, leveraging channel data and using informed assumptions to deliver forecast accuracy, and consolidation of total brand. Manage and reconcile the brand's annual marketing budget on a period-basis, working closely with Demand and Finance teams to ensure marketing funds are spent responsibly to achieve the team's financial and marketing objectives. Uncover external and internal insights, including market trends overviews, competitive monitoring, consumer insights from dedicated research or from CocoaVia database
* Lead content approval process: Serve as process lead for established weekly content approval process between Demand, Science, Corporate Affairs, and Regulatory functions. Ensure timely submissions and documentation of requested changes to drive brand activities forward.
* Drive Influencer and Partnerships Strategy and Execution: Lead and manage agency relationships with influencer and publisher partner to deliver high performing content to qualified audiences. As this is a key pillar of the brand's growth trajectory, detail-oriented execution is imperative for continued success with opportunities to support broader plans through strategic input
* Manage shopper & promotion plans: Lead ongoing shopper/promotional activities by establishing the appropriate cadence, depth, timing, and content needed. Work closely with Customer Data and Retention Manager to create incremental test & learn opportunities to optimize efficiencies and maximize performance. Own CocoaVia's marketing calendar, inclusive of influencer and partnership activations, site-wide promotions, and email test and learn plots
* Support base product portfolio and innovation: Assist in rolling-out updates to base product portfolio to support the future growth of CocoaVia.
