Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our restaurant team in a dual role as a Breakfast Attendant and Server. This position requires the employee to split their duties 50% as a Breakfast Set Up Attendant and 50% as a Breakfast Server,offering a dynamic workday with a mix of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:As Breakfast Set Up Attendant:
- Ensure the breakfast area is set up and fully operational on time each day.
- Prepare and arrange the breakfast tables with attention to quality and detail, ensuring all items are set and presented attractively.
- Manage the 'grab and go' breakfast offerings, keeping the area clean and replenished throughout service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast service area before, during, and after breakfast, including cleaning equipment and utensils.
- Monitor inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to guest requests and concerns.
As Breakfast Server:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their breakfast orders in a polite and professional manner.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Process guest orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to the restaurant's service standards.
- Operate the point of sale system, handle cash, and process credit card transactions.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer any questions guests may have regarding food and beverage choices.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
- As part of the serving role, you will be subject to the restaurant's server tip policy
Compensation:
- When working as a Breakfast Set Up Attendant, compensation will be based on an hourly base rate without tips.
- When serving, compensation includes an hourly base rate plus tips, in accordance with the restaurant's tip policy.
Experience and SkillsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
