We're looking for a hospitality-driven and professional Breakfast Server to join our team in efforts to create a fun, unique, and successful environment. The ideal candidate is dedicated, personable, professional, and communicates well. This person will work early morning shifts and have a positiveattitude to start guests' days off right. This is a non-exempt position that will report directly to the Food & Beverage Manager.The PropertyHYATT House is an extended-stay, residential-style hotel that aims to provide individual travelers with the feel of a modern condominium. Our 175 room, all suite property offers the comforts of home such as fully equipped kitchens, flat panel HDTVs and daily complimentary breakfast, while the public space features facilities such as a pool, a fitness center, and a business center. We are open-minded individuals who embrace change.* A growing team looking to expand with authentic and genuine individuals who recognize the importance of team engagement.What You Will Be Doing* Greet guests warmly and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and friendly manner.* Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with guests and addressing any issues or concerns.* Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast service.* Communicate effectively with management regarding guest feedback, inventory needs, and any operational issues.* Assist in training new breakfast staff as needed.* Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.* Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.* Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management immediately.* Maintain knowledge of current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, and food shortages in the kitchen as well as allergies/dietary restrictions* Present checks & manage payments in accordance with company policy.* Assist with any tasks needed to create an excellent work environment and productive breakfast environment.What We're Looking For* Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.* Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.* Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.* Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.* Ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure.* Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.* High school diploma or equivalent.As part of an organizational culture that embraces change and progress, this job description does not seek to limit the tasks and responsibilities of the position.
