Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast ServerAM to join our team at Schahet Hotels in Schenectady, New York. As a Breakfast Server AM, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests during the breakfast hours which are 6am- 11:00 am This individual contributor role offers a part-time schedule and a competitive salary of $10 per hour plus gratuities. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive salary of $10 per hour plus gratuities. - Part-time schedule - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holiday pay - Discounted rates on hotels within the Schahet Hotels portfolio Responsibilities: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, promptly seating them and offering menus - Take guests' orders and accurately enter them into the POS system - Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner - Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions - Ensure all food and beverage items are accurately delivered to the guests - Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-stocked - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area and dining room - Take payments from guests and process transactions accurately - Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed - Strive to provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints - Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe work environment - Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a customer service or server role preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency - Excellent time management and multitasking abilities - Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices - Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time EEOC statement: At Schahet Hotels, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
