They use computerized systems and sensors to adjust and regulate the temperature, pressure, pH, gravity, and other parameters of the brew. They also perform quality checks, take samples, and record data throughout the process. must follow strict hygiene and safety standards, as well as recipes and formulas, to ensure the consistency and quality of the product. The Brewing Operator will ensure that Safety and Quality are at the forefront of all activities. This role will work closely with others, and the Lead Brewing Operator, to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed on time and within standard operating procedures.Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Completing daily and weekly tasks using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure quality and repeatable results.
- Ensuring continuous operation of process equipment through active process monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Effectively communicating job knowledge and process changes with team members and management through various forms of daily communication (shift handover meetings, daily production meetings, email, action logs, work orders, etc.).
- Performing quality inspection of products using basic lab equipment and SOPs as a guide.
- Completing and maintaining written documentation certifying completion of inventory checks, quality inspections, sanitation requirements, batch and blending production following SOP's, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining sanitation and lubrication of machinery, equipment, storage bins, workstations, etc.
- Reporting safety and/or equipment issues to leadership. Performing other various job duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Associate degree or higher encouraged.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or a combination of manual labor experience.
- Excellent use of PC skills such as MS Office, excel, word, and email.
- Brewing/Filtration experience a plus.
- Forklift experience a plus (certification not required)
