Location: Lima,OH, USA
Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring a Bricklayers for our operation in Lima, Ohio. Bricklayers are part of our Maintenance Department responsible for installing brick and fiber refractory in steel melting equipment and furnaces.
Competitive: Wage up to $25.34/hr. benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, Paid Time Off (PTO), Additional Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.
Responsibilities:
* Installing refractory in Electric Arc Furnaces and ladles
* Installing brick and fiber refractory in heat treat furnaces
* Other brick, mortar and concrete projects throughout the plant
* General plant maintenance
* Other maintenance tasks as needed
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
* Must be capable of performing physical tasks
* Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
* Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Previous construction experience a plus
* Attention to detail
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
Classification: Hourly
