- Hours: Monday-Saturday, 40+ hours
- Mix and prepare cement, bricks, and mortar for structures
- Cut and shape materials until they meet the jobs specifications
- Assist in the creation of chimneys, walls, frames, walkways, and other structures
- Interpret blueprints
- Do your part to maintain tools and workspaces
- Lift and carry bricks, concrete blocks, and stones from place to place
Qualifications:
- OSHA-10 Completion of a mason apprenticeship or previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for most of the day
- Familiarity with commonly-used mason techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in the commercial field required
- Prior experience using hand tools required
- Position may require a drug screen
