The Bridal & Bespoke Jewelry Manager holds a critical position of embodying the Stephanie Gottlieb brand in each and every client interaction, using your own flair for making each clients experience extraordinary. Reporting into the President and Chief Commercial Officer, you will serve in a sales driving role managing client transactions end-to-end. You serve as a trusted advisor who assists clients with jewelry selection, diamond education, and jewelry care, with personalized appointments and follow up. You are responsible for overseeing the Bridal, Bespoke and Client Advisor (sales) team. Your passion for Stephanie Gottlieb is conveyed in every conversation and an entrepreneurial spirit is prevalent in all that you do. You must be able to think strategically and lead a team that focuses on day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients and people. You will identify new initiatives on how to target, build and establish successful relationships with existing & emerging clients through luxury events and experiences.

As Bridal & Bespoke Jewelry Manager you will

  • Generate sales through effective client building.
  • Host initial consultation, providing a courteous and luxury client experience.
  • Identify client needs.
  • Use extensive diamond and bespoke product knowledge to serve as an expert for the customer.
  • Ideate, price, and execute on client custom orders, including reset designs and customizations on existing pieces.
  • Oversee sales from start to close; preparing and sourcing loose diamonds, gemstones, and/or finished jewelry pieces.
  • Work with suppliers on sourcing diamonds and materials.
  • Present diamonds to client (both local and long-distance) and finalize setting design.
  • Close sale.
  • Oversee production timeline.
  • Communicate courteously and in a timely manner with customers by email and telephone, to place sales orders via NetSuite.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness and concern for inventory control and loss prevention.
  • Develop client relationships and exceed commercial targets through the love of building your own business.
  • Deepen the relationship with our clients to drive lifetime loyalty and spend.
  • Capture client data.
  • Offer a superior aftersales service to all Stephanie Gottlieb clients that ensures client satisfaction and retention.
  • Represent Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry an ambassador networking within the community.
  • Utilize an entrepreneurial spirit and reinforce client development to grow outreach business.
  • Provide excellent customer service and help team nurture and elevate sales experiences to support growth.
  • Deepen the relationship with our clients to drive lifetime loyalty and spend.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual store commercial targets.
  • Capture client data. Maintain and grow existing clients; keep records of milestones and clients tastes goals for future purchases.
  • Connect with your clients wardrobe to style them.
  • Deliver a significant portion of sales through repeat client business.
  • Assist clients in all phases of selling Stephanie Gottlieb products, showing respect, knowledge and professionalism.
  • Identify innovative ways to grow your business through delivering elevated client experience in each client appointment.
  • Convert clients through curiosity and discovery daily.
  • Assist other team members in sales process as needed.
  • Constantly utilize all tools and forms of communication to improve results. Build and update client base through all available resources such as phone calls, mails and emails.
  • Seek out new methods of active client development through social contacts, networking and events.
  • Consistently enter and update accurate information for client data in appropriate tools.
  • Provide superior aftersales service to all Stephanie Gottlieb clients.
  • Follow up to ensure full client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of prior retail sales experience in Fine Jewelry
  • Strong Fine Jewelry knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Considerate, positive, and puts the customer at the center
  • Bachelors or GIA Degree preferred
  • Proven sales record
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well organized

Working Conditions

  • Office environment with occasional visits to local vendors.
  • Requirement to handle high-value items with utmost care and discretion.
  • This job requires 5 days a week in office, at our Midtown Manhattan offices.

Base salary range: $75,000-$92,500
