Role: Bridge Inspection Engineer Location: Meriden, CT Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000 DOE (full suite of benefits, hybrid work schedule) POSITION SUMMARY: One of the most well respected Bridge companies in the nation is revamping their Bridge team in their CT office and they need a seasoned Inspector to help develop this division! If you are a Bridge Engineer with a proven background within Inspections, please read on! DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct safety inspections of Bridges and other Transportation structures and prepare reports • Perform inspections using different testing methods, mechanical equipment, and/or climbing gear • Perform post incident inspections to determine damage levels and make educated follow up decisions • Coordinate inspection scheduled, traffic control, rail access, etc. with owners • Mentor and Lead junior team members to elevate their experience within the space • Perform other tasks as needed EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES: • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar field • PE License is preferred, but not required • Must have prior experience working on ConnDOT projects • 3+ years Bridge Inspection experience • Current approval as a DOT Inspection Team Leader is a HUGE plus • Ability and willingness to mentor other team members • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permits If interested in being considered for this role, please apply here or email ...@execusource.com to learn more! #MISC123
