STV currently has openings for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in the Transportation group in New York, New York.Bridge Inspection - Team Leader
Responsibilities Include:- Work as an integral part of the Bridge Practice in our Northeast bridge group.
- Support structural bridge design group on selected projects and lead assigned tasks as appropriate.
- Work with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
- Assist in maintaining quality of project deliverables produced by the Bridge Group.
- Support plan production by handling CAD layout and markups as needed.
Qualifications Include:- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of bridge inspection experience
- NY and NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required with active FHWA NHI Training Certification
- Experience for various agencies such as DOT, MTA, TBTA, PANYNJ
- Ability to plan and coordinate work efforts needed to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with staff and clients.
