Our client is leading Construction Engineering Firm, prioritizing honesty, integrity, and work-life balance. The excel in Temporary Works Design, creating tailored drawings and calculations for contractors involved in major infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, buildings, railroads, power generation, utilities, and marine projects. Projects aslo range permanent design, inspections, and forensic engineering.

They have a strong presence in Port Chester with several offices in the area and plans for expansion.

Role Overview:

We are looking for skilled Project Engineers with a focus on Structural and/or Geotechnical expertise. This position offers a path for career advancement in both management and technical domains. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing temporary support structures, shoring towers, work trestles, and temporary bridges
• Managing construction loads on structures, developing engineered lift plans, and creating demolition and erection plans for buildings and bridges
• Performing alternative lifting operations, rigging design/analysis, and crane layout planning
• Handling support of excavation, cofferdams, pile foundations, subsurface investigations, and evaluating buried structures and utilities
• Field visits to assess conditions and meet clients will be necessary, though they will constitute less than 10% of your work time. Our projects span North America, primarily in the Northeast.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
• 7+ years of experience, preferably in bridge design
• Background in Geo-Structural and/or Construction Engineering is advantageous
