We are looking for a licensed professional engineer to join #TeamBergmann as a Bridge Project Manager for our growing Northeast Infrastructure group in New York! Our Project Managers are responsible for leading a wide range of highway, pedestrian and rail bridge project(s) ensuring success through all phases of project delivery from pursuit through construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the success of the projects under his/her management
  • Handle all aspects for a project
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to individuals within Bergmann
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the work and workload of project staff
  • Monitor project costs to ensure that project is delivered within budget, fulfills customer expectations for schedule and quality, and/or aligns with the company strategic objectives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience of AASHTO compliant bridge design/management experience
  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in NY or be able to be licensed in NY
  • Ability to lead multi-discipline bridge projects for public and private sector clients
  • An established business network with DOT, Thruway, and/or Municipal clients and contractors
  • Prior experience with the Federal-Aid project delivery process
  • Proven ability to manage bridge projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams meeting schedule, budget and quality
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and win work
  • Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices
  • Familiarity with construction engineering, AREMA based rail bridge design, and/or design build procurement a plus
