Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Broker Associate role at HRS Commercial in Newport Beach, CA. This role provides the candidate with a unique opportunity to learn and grow from the best within a small firm environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year prior experience in relevant commercial real estate area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Real Estate Salesperson license.
  • Basic understanding of quantitative analysis and finance.
  • A valid driver's license and fully insured automobile is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales skills and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients.
  • Overall working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • As an Associate you will work with HRS lead producers to accomplish business development and secure client relationships.
  • Develop market and property specific target client lists and generate new leads and prospects (in-person contacts, phone calls, canvassing; scheduling face-to-face meetings with new clients, and follow-up as needed).
  • Develops business and negotiates the selling, leasing, and marketing of commercial real estate properties.
  • Compiles property and market data for clients, such as surveys, summary reports, maps, market updates, and presentations for new assignments.
  • Maintain direct contact with prospects by cold calling and driving marketing efforts with the objective of increasing client awareness and new client acquisition.
  • Update CRM to maintain contacts, leads, and opportunities for the team.
  • Review, abstract and analyze client legal documents, (PSA, Lease, etc).
