This is a hybrid role - 3 days in office and 2 days remote in Orlando, FL.PurposeThe brokerage coordinator is a key decision maker in the daily operations of LUHU Logistics, Ravago America's brokerage division. The average BC is responsible for managing ~$4M in freight spend, and ~3,000 shipments a year. On time performance and cost maintenance are the highest graded metrics for the team, and you will be expected to understand, maintain, and drive results to obtain our performance goals. BCs have an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the operation. BCs will be expected to make check calls, dispatch trucks, manage partner relationships, and grow LUHU's footprint within Ravago's many businesses.Areas of Responsibility / TasksPerformance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.* Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority)*

Every BC is a decision maker and thought leader for the brokerage operations. Responsible for sourcing freight and providing feedback to company stakeholders.* Preform check calls, ensure on time delivery of shipments, and drive continuous improvement* Manage shipments to ensure highest service while being cognizant of revenue goals* Act as a direct contact for Transportation Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving Departments, Carrier Base, and other external partners LUHU needs to partner with* Understanding of LUHU's metrics and how to maintain them* Follow up with Vendor Payments, Validate, and Approve Carrier Invoices* Secondary Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority)* Understanding of LUHU's metrics and how to maintain/improve them* Ability to provide afterhours support* All other duties as assignedContacts* Internal: Transportation Coordinators, Transportation Managers, Buyers, Product Coordinators, Product Managers, Segment managers and Directors, Import Specialists, Accounts Payable, Maritime Management* External: Freight Carriers, Warehouses, Shippers, Receivers, Customers Freight Forwarders, Brokers, Overseas agentsCompetencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility.
