Bronc Success Coordinator - Sheridan High School
Sheridan County School District is looking for a positive, professional, and motivated Bronc Success Coordinator to join the High School team. This position will work full-time for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday during the school year.
STARTING WAGE: $17.50-$20.50 depending on experience.
BENEFITS: Wyoming State Retirement Pension Plan, AFLAC Supplemental Insurance, Paid Sick (10 days) and Personal Leave (2 days) . Time off matches the school calendar including Christmas, Spring and Summer breaks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma.
* Varied practical work experience.
* Ability to interact directly with high school students and their parents, and to take an interest in their individual needs and expectations
* Knowledge of, and experience with, the sources of information, media tools, and methodologies of post-secondary military, vocational, and educational planning.
REPORTS TO: SHS Principal
JOB GOAL: Oversee operations of the Bronc Success Center; provides information, resources, and tools for planning post-secondary opportunities.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Provide college, military, and career information to students and parents as requested.
* Maintain all functions of the Bronc Success Center.
* Oversee administration of college and career assessments, including PSAT, ACT, and SAT.
* Oversee administration of Advanced Placement coursework and assessments.
* Prepare documents, reports, and data as requested by school and district administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Employment relationship with the District is at will and of indefinite duration. Approximately 176 days; hours to be established by supervisor; salary and fringe benefits to be set by Board of Trustees.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.

Placement on any of the Classified (Hourly) Wage Schedules for all new employees will be based solely on an individual's years of job-related experience:
* School district experience (full time) = One (1) year of job-related experience equals one (1) step on the wage schedule, up to step seven (7)
* School district experience (substitute) & non-school district experience = three (3) years of job-related experience equals one (1) step on the wage schedule, up to step seven (7)
* placement beyond step seven (7) requires approval from the Superintendent
Upon board approval, eligible staff move one (1) step on the wage schedule annually, except in those years when the Board of Trustees sets a wage freeze due to budget constraints. Individuals that start in their position after the start of second semester will not be eligible for a step increase the following school year. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
