The BSA Assistant supports the BSA/AML Officer to ensure the Bank is compliant with all Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, and OFAC rules.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Makes well-defined analytical decisions to determine appropriate BSA related decisions (e.g., identification of activity requiring a filing)
- Acts as point of contact for BSA related questions, exceptions, and support
- Reviews and completes daily, weekly and monthly BSA related reports
- Reviews and dispositions Alerts and Cases related to BSA program
- Assists BSA Officer in preparing requests from auditors and examiners
- Provides guidance and training of front-line banking staff regarding BSA
- Aids with updating or creating BSA/OFAC policies and procedures
- Interprets changes in law and regulation providing recommendations for policies and/or procedures
- Completes in-house training programs successfully for position and attends off-site professional development training
- Assists in the completion of the annual Risk Assessment
- Performs other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years' general banking experience and BSA knowledge
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
