- Operates a variety of hand tools safely and efficiently, including drills, saws, nail guns, hot glue guns, knives, clamps, and sanders. Must be able to work with and around wood, wood filler, glue, sandpaper, dust, etc.
- Work with others in a close-quartered area and promote team relations.
- Maintain work pace required to achieve production demands.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.
- Use of proper PPE and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards. and maintaining a safe work environment Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights.
- Demonstrates basic math, interpersonal, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma and GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust.
- 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp.
- 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception.
- 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment.
- 10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting.
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance
