- Follows a regular cleaning schedule for classrooms, kitchen, office area, bathrooms, storage areas, and entrances of all exposed spaces, and floors. Completes minor repairs at centers and offices upon request.
- Ensures major repairs and maintenance are completed as requested. Performs quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Completes routine maintenance of all heating and ventilation systems.
- Assists with remodeling, refurbishing and repairing of office spaces, classrooms, and storage units which may include minor carpentry, painting, sanding and refinishing of furniture, fixtures and equipment.
- Strips, waxes and buffs floors.
- Ensures regular maintenance and upkeep of outdoor environments, including lawns, landscaped beds, playgrounds, outdoor structures and parking lots.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED plus 2-3 years of general maintenance experience; or a combination of education and experience, required.
- Physical exam, TB and Drug Screening and criminal background, required.
- Ability to respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agency's service population.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including late afternoons.
- Must have valid driver's license which meets the requirements of the agency's insurance carrier.
