How do you excel in this positionThe ideal candidate will have the ability to review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements. They will create accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using AutoCAD or Visio/Smartware. Responsibilities include sizing control valves, dampers, and airflow stations for HVAC systems, as applicable, and writing and interpreting sequences of operations for these systems. The role also involves performing voltage calculations for fire alarm systems and understanding system operations for protective systems, as required. Attention to detail and technical accuracy are critical for ensuring successful project outcomes.What are we looking for
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years of related experience required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe.
  • Technical background in electrical circuits, HVAC and controls required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to organize work and pay close attention to details.
  • Capable to manage workload and schedules to meet deadlines promptly.
Additional skills preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Understanding of advanced hydronic and duct work systems.
