This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a variety of state-of-the-art building automation systems. The successful candidate will provide service and customer support during site visits, manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, and diagnose errors or technical problems to determine proper solutions.Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair building automation, HVAC, and control systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and repairing system problems, and ensuring optimal system performance.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on building automation systems and controls.
- Utilize building automation software tools such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell Spider Tool, Alerton, Metasys, and Ecostruxure.
- Integrate various systems and controls for seamless functionality and efficiency.
- Perform system checks to ensure proper and efficient operation of digital controls, DDC, EMS, CCT, etc.
- Collaborate with engineering team to develop and implement system improvements and enhancements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service and installation actions.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in building automation technology and apply this knowledge to the job.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Building Automation Service Technician or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), building management systems (BMS), HVAC systems, and controls.
- Proficiency in integrating various systems and controls.
- Familiarity with digital controls, DDC, EMS, CCT, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Johnson Controls, Belimo, and Honeywell products is a plus.
