Our client is looking to hire a Building Control Specialist who will be part of the building automation projects specific to large HVAC systems to federal buildings and secured operations. in the greater Virginia, D.C., and Maryland areas. This role requires someone who is highly motivated to provide preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and services of HVAC controls and systems. The company is not looking purely for an HVAC tech. The company deploys complex software systems that act as the hub and wants a mix of a technology-driven expert and an industrial skilled technician.You should be as comfortable with a laptop as you are with a fluke. Due to the nature of the role, you should be comfortable working on mechanical systems as needed and will be trained in the areas that you don't have significant experience in. This role requires someone who is highly responsible. You will have candid and direct interaction with customers who require professionalism and decorum. This is another reason why the company wants military-experienced candidates for this role. The role is a Monday - Friday role with normal working hours being 6am - 2pm. You should be comfortable working when required as these times may adjust based on the project or need.
