Position Summary: Responsible for building and property maintenance to ensure facilities are safe, maintained and secure in compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA standards. Installation, maintenance and repair of all equipment in all the Quality Dairy Company facilities. Job Duties:
- Repair rentals, facilities and stores
- Roof repair and installation
- Parking lot repairs and parking lot striping
- Lighting and electrical repairs
- Floor repairs
- Painting
- Plumbing repairs
- Overhead door repairs
- Wall repairs
- Welding
- Gasoline equipment repairs
- Structural repairs
- Maintain facility
- Use tools and machinery in an appropriate manner
- Perform seasonal changeover of facilities
- Clean and replace defective parts as needed
- Record keeping
- Assure start up, day end and weekend check lists are documented and within parameters
- Fill out work orders upon completion of job
- Document all purchases appropriately
- Sanitation
- Keep shop area safe, clean and organized
- Assure work area is clean after repair or maintenance is completed
- Maintain vehicles in an appropriate manner

Maintenance Personnel
Mental/Physical Demands:
- Strong commitment towards tasks completion

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, lift, and pull repetitively
- Exposure to temperature and noise extremes
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize time and meet quality expectations
- Ability to remain flexible in scheduling
- Exposure to chemicals
- Exposure to high-speed equipment
- Some irregular hours 10 to 30% of time (late nights, early days)

Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical knowledge
- Welding experience
- General computer skills
- 3 years minimum experience in maintenance preferred
- Ability to express ideas clearly
- Forklift certification within 6 months of employment
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of safe lifting procedures
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, masonry
- Acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of plumbing and piping
