  • Looking for a Full-time (~30-40 hours/week) candidate.

Qualifications:Required:
  • Has a strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude in the range of skills needed to be an effective Building Maintenance Technician
Preferred:
  • A self-directed and self-motivated individual requiring little daily supervision once trained on routine duties
  • Able to follow instructions, prioritize duties, and comply with deadlines
Job Description: This position is responsible for assisting with general building preventative maintenance, building mechanical repairs, and basic construction duties, for a large independent pharmacy consisting of over 20 pharmacy and office locations Core Competencies & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general preventative maintenance to ensure building and equipment is safe and effective for use
  • Monitor and perform minor building and systems repairs to ensure the property is functional, presentable, and safe
  • Paint and perform minor wall repairs to applicable areas
  • Demonstrate proficiency and respond appropriately to the building fire and safety systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, locks and hardware
  • Hang sheetrock, tape and mud
  • Provide and maintain tools
  • Perform assigned duties as prescribed by Facilities Manager
  • Respond to situations appropriately
  • Clean up after projects performed including removal of debris from the building and grounds
  • Communicates plans, needs and how it may affect others clearly and regularly relating to the maintenance being performed, issues you encounter, and assistance needed; if applicable, with manager, store personnel and maintenance team members
  • Assist and/or back up coworkers
  • Maintain and operate work vehicle
  • Securely and safely load and pull car trailer
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
  • Must be able to work before or after regularly scheduled hours, or days, based on need for job completion
  • Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, stoop, kneel, bend and twist for up to 8 hours per day
  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day
  • Position requires repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds daily
Working Environment:
  • This position will require following safety and security procedures, determines appropriate action beyond guidelines, reports potentially unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly. Wear safety equipment (goggles, mask, gloves, etc.) as tasks dictate
