- Develop and implement plans to ensure all mechanical, electrical, and technology aspects meet requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and codes.
- Manage the commissioning team, assigning tasks to meet project milestones.
- Record all activities, test results, and deficiencies; provide progress reports.
- Attend essential meetings requiring management or technical support.
- Conduct quarterly goal reviews and performance appraisals.
- Develop and support training plans for direct reports.
Qualifications
- 6+ years in the industry with a background in building automation and mechanical/electrical systems.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with Autodesk BIM products, Procore, Smartsheet, and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
- Strong communication skills to interface with customers and team members.
- Experience with data center/critical facility automation systems.
