Job Description:

Darigold is seeking a Bulk Milk Receiver at our Pasco, Washington location. The Milk Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading bulk fluid trucks according to standard operating procedures, completing all required paperwork, and maintaining accurate records. What You Will Do • Receiving and loading out all bulk milk and cream shipments in an efficient and safe way manner. • Tending the Milk Receiving process from Tanker to Silo • Handling, moving, connecting, disconnecting, cleaning, and inspecting receiving bay and the equipment servicing the bay. • Computing weights and measurements and recording information relative to amounts received. • Performs CIP and sanitation of the intake area and associated silos; maintains organization of the work area; and performs ongoing cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks in compliance with good manufacturing practices. • Ensuring appropriate handling of bulk milk product into the system, verifying the type and source farm/carrier of the incoming raw product. • Performing Quality Tests on Raw Milk in accordance with company or regulatory guidelines • Ensures that tagging and identifying notifications on tanks are correct and recorded properly. • Maintaining accurate documentation as required • Assist with training new personnel. • Submits timely and accurate reports. • Maintains clean work area. • Follow all company safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice policies. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. What You Bring • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • 1 year production experience preferred. • Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. • Work with others to achieve team goals. • Must be available for multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment. • Must maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with high responsibility. • Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 55 pounds) and stand for extended periods. • Able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. • Must be able to stand/walk for twelve or more hours based on production finish. • Must be able to climb stairs. • Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications in Receiving, Antibiotic Testing, CHARM testing and any other regulatory agency requirements Nice to Have's • Ideal candidate will have previous dairy processing or food manufacturing experience. • Ability to monitor several concurrent processes simultaneously is critical to success in the position. • Strong attention to detail, must be able to complete multiple and repetitive tasks, must be committed to accuracy and quality. • Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. • Work with others to achieve team goals. • Maintain high attendance standards. • Experience in a manufacturing environment, mechanical skills desirable. • Strong computer experience for reporting and HMI screen management • Ability to respond to variances in the process. • Ability to organize and analyze process problems. • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong computer skills • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes Physical Requirements Never N 0% Seldom S 1-10% / 0-1 hour Occasional O 11-33% / 1-3 hours Frequent F 34-66% / 3-6 hours Constant C 67-100% Physical Requirement Sit O Stand/Walk C Climb Ladder S Climb Stairs F Twist F Bend / Stoop F Squat / Kneel O Crawl S Reach C Work above shoulders F Keyboard O Wrist C Grasp F Operate foot controls S Vibratory task S Lift 56 Lbs.
