CDL Class A license preferredJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all tasks related to receipt, storage and shipments of bulk chemicals in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for ensuring that all necessary paperwork is properly completed for materials received and shipped. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate loading and unloading of all bulk materials within the site.
  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of carriers to include accurate weighing, movement and spotting of units, material and tank verification, following all check lists and completing all documentation, appropriate monitoring of the activity, with minimal waste and flushing, and cleaning all associated equipment.
  • Ensures the safe movement of various vehicles and equipment within and throughout the site.
  • Transport material samples as appropriate and follow-up for approvals.
  • Work to ensure the operability of equipment is maintained to high standards.
  • Knowledgeable in handling of chemical spills and actively participates in clean up.
  • Maintenance of good housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Willingness to work Monday-Friday (starting as early as 5:00 am, times could vary slightly).

EXPERIENCE:1+ years of related experience and/or training.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONSForklift License.CDL license preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
