The Harold Burson Summer Internship (HBSI) Program gives early-career professionals an opportunity to explore the world of communications at a top-tier global communications agency during an exhilarating 16-week experience. During this paid internship, interns work alongside top professionals in the field, participating in everything from strategy and planning discussions to creative brainstorms aimed at capturing national news, shaping public opinion and sparking community engagement.
The HBSI culminates a real-world challenge where interns research, design and present a campaign for a current Burson client to the agency's senior management, receiving feedback, tips and insights that would ordinarily take years to obtain. The program will run from June 9 - September 30, 2025, and you will be connected to one of our U.S. offices. The health and well-being of our employees, including you as our future intern, are our top priorities. All our offices are open, and we plan to welcome you to them as many days a week as you'd like, but Burson U.S. is currently following an 8 day/month in the office hybrid policy.
We are seeking a highly creative and enthusiastic Social Content Creator Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing engaging social media content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to real-world client projects. You will be immersed in the fast-paced world of social media marketing and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development of creative and engaging social media content (text, images, videos, GIFs, stories, etc.) across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
* Brainstorm and contribute to social media campaign ideation and strategy
* Collaborate with our Influencer team on tasks from influencer identification to influencer ideation
* Conduct social media research and competitive analysis.
* Assist with community management, including responding to comments and messages.
* Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for client engagement.
* Collaborate with the creative & content teams on content calendars and scheduling.
* Participate in client meetings and presentations (as appropriate).
* Assist with other tasks as needed.
Experience that contributes to your success:
* May/June 2025 undergrad graduates in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Visual storytelling skills and experience creating engaging content.
* Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
