Position Type: Transportation Date Posted: 4/27/2023 Location: Transportation JOB TITLE: BUS AIDE CLASSIFICATION: Classified CERTIFICATION: REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: At-Will LENGTH OF TERM: 180 Days/hours as assigned SUMMARY: Assists special services students being transported by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned)
- Assists students being loaded onto and off of bus
- Ensures students are properly secured and remain seated while on bus
- Performs routine first aid and CPR as needed
- Maintains student discipline while students are on the bus
- Assists in preparation and implementation of emergency evacuations as required
- Maintains confidentiality
- Maintains a regular and reliable level of attendance in order to perform and complete duties as outlined herein
