Trailways of New York is Hiring Bus Drivers _ When getting there matters _, you can rely on our professional drivers to operate our modern well-equipped motor coaches to provide daily service throughout New York State, into Montreal, Toronto and Detroit, Michigan.We have immediate employment opportunities for Full-Time Drivers based out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, New York. The preferred candidate is a self-starter who manages their time safely and effectively with little supervision, and has: One or more years of experience operating a commercial vehicle, preferably a motor coach or school bus. A valid class B or A commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving history. An unrestricted Passenger endorsement (_ability to transport 16 passengers or more)_ A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada (_preferred but not required)._ Full-Time Drivers must have the ability to work a 5-or-6 day work week with open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Part-Time candidates can provide a set availability. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and D.O.T. physical. Strong customer service skills. A love of driving and the willingness to travel. Your benefits: First year average earnings $48,000.00-$53,000. A generous Sign-On Bonus $5000.
