Saucon Valley School District seeks a Bus/Van Monitor.JOB GOAL: To assist driver and special education students in having a safe ride to and from school. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist the driver in maintaining safety by insisting upon good school bus conduct and instructing students in safe practices.- Establish a positive relationship with parents, students, and school personnel.- Assist the driver in every way possible in the educational growth and development of each child as it relates to its transportation.- Assist in every way necessary to meet the adaptive physical needs of the handicapped students by: Assisting students on and off vehicles when necessary AND Proper utilization of students' equipment.- Physically assist students in and out of car seats when necessary.- Understands and maintains confidentiality in all matters- Assumes responsibility for knowing and adhering to all District policies and procedures.
