Job Summary
The Business Administrator Senior manages the Human Resource processes for all departments reporting to the College of Health Sciences (CHS) in collaboration with University Human Resources. This position reports to the College of Health Sciences Dean.
Responsibilities*
* Facilitate, create and/or oversee job-posting to hire processes for all faculty, Graduate Student Research Appointments (GSRA), Graduate Student Instructors (GSI), staff and student/non-student temporary appointments.
* Manage processing and preparation of instructional and staff appointments.
* Manage and ensure adherence to LEO contract in HR activities with lecturer appointments; similarly with GSRA appointments.
* Manage faculty evaluation processes and collection of staff evaluations to meet and maintain compliance with college requirements and meet University and union timelines.
* Collaborate with University Human Resources.
* Ensure CHS adherence to Standard Practice Guides (SPG) in the management of Human Resources.
* Develop and implement CHS HR related administrative policies and procedures
* Supervise staff
Required Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
* 4 or more years of relevant Human Resources experience
* Supervision experience
