You'll be the go-to person for analyzing data and providing insights that drive decisions, ensuring that we're delivering value to both new and existing customers.
In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining narrative reporting and data models that guide our decisions, simplifying complex data into clear analytics, and presenting these insights to senior stakeholders. Key job responsibilities
Use analytics and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights from large, complex data sets.
Conduct and present analyses on customer trends, program effectiveness, and business impact to key stakeholders, including both Operational and Business leadership.
Build and deliver narrative-based reporting that clearly tells the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers.
Test and challenge assumptions around customer value through data-driven models, focusing on customer experience and loyalty.
Make recommendations for new products and recommend improvements to existing operational mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fully understand and support our products.
Continuously monitor and improve data sets to enhance their effectiveness.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel
